Plein Air Sac Fall Exhibit Day One
Time & Location
About the Event
Come see the works of our many talented plein air artists in a two-day exhibition.
We are honoring the tradition of Plein Air artmaking in two-dimensional media including painting and drawing, photography, and digital representations, that respond to the landscape and architecture of California. Plein Air began in the late 1800s and continues to this day.
The Plein Air style began in France during the periods of Impressionism and Post Impressionism as well as early street and landscape photography. Our objective is to herald this iconic style while propelling it forward.
Plein Air Sac is the first community arts program launched by Youth Connections Unlimited, with the express purpose of raising community awareness for the arts, while raising funds to support youth arts education. Your entry fee supports the mission of Youth Connections Unlimited.
